Viki has gained great experience in various styles, and is continuing teaching adult and children’s classes in various dance centres. She has achieved an IDTA Fellowship qualification in Freestyle and Street dance. Viki is aiming to introduce street moves to beginners and improve body styling for dancers to modern music. Street moves can be used to enhance any dance style, whatever your ability there is a move to suit everyone.

Viki started her dance training at the age of 3 with Miss Lesley Munn an IDTA examiner. She continued her training at the same school through all the IDTA grades and medal tests to advanced level in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Theatre-craft and Freestyle/Disco. She passed her first teaching exam at Associate level at the age of 16 and then went on to complete her Associates in all the above styles. Vike worked at the Munn Academy of Dance as a student teacher during her training and went on to dance and sing professionally in shows and clubs around Europe, enjoying an 11 year performing career. During that time she gained great experience in various styles, and continued teaching adult and children’s classes in dance centres abroad, never losing her passion for teaching.

Since returning to the UK 8 years ago, Viki has gone back to her roots and achieved an IDTA Fellowship qualification in Freestyle and Street dance. Her experiences as a performer and teacher have enriched her life, and she enjoy passing this on to others.

STREETFUNK for ADULTS

Street dance for Adults with a funky twist aiming to introduce street moves to beginners and improve body styling for dancers to modern music. Street moves can be used to enhance any dance style, from ballet to salsa, whatever your ability there is a move to suit everyone.

Learn to coordinate your body to varied rhythms and build up your dance confidence in a fun atmosphere.

Each class will begin with a warm-up and finish with a cool down and will include practice of isolations, body and arm styling, basic street footwork leading to a fun dance routine.

Are you a beginner? Do you think you have two left feet ? ..Too embarrassed to dance in public ?..
Then this is the class for you. Come along and learn some funky street moves, lose those inhibitions and let me prove you wrong... ANYONE can Dance!
