"I have trained in Martial Arts since 1996 and currently hold 1st Dan Wado Ryu Karate and 3rd Dan Iaido.
I am a great believer in the traditional methods of Karate teaching, focusing on a structured class following the UK Bushido grading syllabus ( British Wadokai ). This format teaches discipline, self-control and improves confidence and fitness of the students.
The 1st lesson if free, no upfront monthly fees and gradings held every 3 month ( free of charge )."
All martial art schools and styles have much to offer but we principally teach the Wado Style of Karate. The 'Wado' style of Karate contains all the kicks, punches and blocks found in other styles or schools of Karate. However the Wado style also incorporates many joint locks, joint manipulation and throws which are similar to Jujitsu and Aikido.
The ‘Wado’ style is one of the most popular styles of Karate practiced in the world today and is recognised by the World Karate Federation and by the Olympic Committee.
