Lynn Blackman has been teaching dance to adults and children since 1995 and has danced in, and choreographed numerous shows at local theatres. She runs her own dance school and also teaches for Kent Adult Education.

Lynn has been dancing since the age of six and trained for her I.S.T.D. Dance qualification with Susan Bishop of Dance Fusion in Orpington and more recently at the Deborah Capon College in Whitstable. Lynn has gained a Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (D.T.L.L.S). from Canterbury Christ Church University and has been awarded Qualified Teaching and Learning Status (Q.T.L.S.) and is at present studying for a BA(Hons) in Dance Education with the Royal Academy of Dance/Surrey University.

Lynn specialises in teaching dance to adults, and has formed Dance Class to cater for the adult amateur dancer. She believes that dance should be fun and aims to keep her classes relaxed, but with an eye to obtaining the highest standards each student is capable of.
