Boxercise is one of the most effective forms of cross-training available today. It combines use of aerobic and anaerobic energy systems with the systematic recruitment of both fast and slow twitch muscle fibres. It ensures a diverse workout, enhances sport specific senses, including hand-eye co-ordination, balance and timing. Boxercise classes are always fun, energetic and addictive. The classes are different from other boxing classes where youd be hitting the bag for 30 minutes non stop (even though not a bad way to train) Fight Fit main focus is on having fun and getting fit at the same time by using boxing principles! The basic class break down will be warm up and the basics of boxing (foot work, punching) and we will have fun with the warm up and then move on to partnered pad work and other exercises and maybe a few circuits thrown in for good measure.
